What is NAIS and how will it
effect you?
Poodles found
their way into
One Sky Ranch in 2004 when my youngest son left home. Since then I have found
them to be wonderful herding dogs, tracking dogs and highly intelligent
companions. I adore them so much that I recently added a Standard Poodle
female to our family. For those of you that remember Howdy. My oldest son
Chris took Howdy when he moved out. Chris and Howdy are now inseparable. If
you are interested in learning more about Poodles and understanding they are
not just a pretty hair due, or a fancy dog you must spend hours grooming, if
you are interested in understanding the gun dog, tracking dog and herding
dog behind the good looks, this site is a great start. Poodles have been war

There is a reason I have
Brown Poodles. There is a ..trait.. for lack of better words, that I have been researching and will publish
my findings that effects the brown brain. I think this is why I love brown
Poodles so much. They have something special.

I haven't gotten Gidget's pedigree
up yet. She goes back to some very historical and wonderful dogs! Im
still doing research on the dam's side.

Kitty
is now spayed and in need of a good home.
Kitty is a
perfect example of why you don't want to buy a puppy from an internet sight.
Kitty was purchased from Pitter Patter Kennels in MO. as a AKC Toy Poodle. She
came with AKC papers and as you can see she is not a Poodle at all. I turned
the papers back into AKC and the litter had their registry revoked. I was
never refunded my 550.00. I was told if I returned Kitty she would be replaced
with a Poodle. After the obvious abuse she had suffered I could not in good
conscious return her. So she is living out her life as Wulf's pocket dog and I
just ate my looses and called it an education. I tell this story as a warning
to others looking to buy a puppy over the internet. It is best to pick your
puppy out in person. Visit the kennels and see what you are getting first. If
you don't you may play victim to a host of issues. Even Didget came to us sick
and missing a toe, her shoulder was also pulled out of socket, and she had
Guardia (G-R-D-a). Please be careful and pick a puppy that will give you the
good years you can give them.
My Opinion of Poodle
Hybrids, Labra-Doodles, Aussie-Doodles, Cocker-Doodles ( face it that one
sounds more like rooster crowing) and the list goes on.
